The Edge 820 is the all new, feature packed cycle computer from Garmin. It is incredibly lightweight and compact and features a 2.3-inch high-resolution, capacitive touch display that works with gloves and when wet. With many performance features, it is Garmin’s best computer to date.
It is packed with many features from previous Garmin units such as advanced performance monitoring, VO2 max, recovery advisor, Strava live segments, FTP, performance condition and advanced cycling dynamics as well as detailed mapping and turn by turn navigation. With the Edge 820 however, Garmin has introduced new features that have not previously been seen.
The new group track feature lets you keep tabs on everyone riding in your pack or to easily meet up with friends if you are running late for your group ride. It now features built in incident detection that notifies a contact in the event of a crash. Safety features are further enhanced thanks to its integration with Garmin accessories such as the Varia lights and Varia Vision.
